Great idea to use aluminium angles as sliders. A scrap of 1×6 served as a spacer underneath so there’s enough room for the lip of the bin to slide in place.

Over the years, I’ve made a few different Lego tables to try to contain the chaos.
My goal is to help people fix up their homes and furnish them with custom builds that they can be proud to say they made themselves! In this room from The Family Handyman, the bins are the perfect size (not too big and shallow enough) to sort Legos and being able to slide them all the way out and onto the floor is a great option for a Lego-building sesh. The X will go against the plywood sides in the next step.
My favorite purchase to date for my child is absolutely our Ikea FLISAT table.

Getting the spacing right for the hanging Trofast bins was the trickiest part of this project. 3/4″ was a little too tight, but 1/2″ worked perfectly! I’m thinking of using it on the rest of the projects I have planned for his room too.
